Modern und angemessen die Bibel auslegen – bei diesem Vortrag geht es um eine Auseinandersetzung mit „modernen“ Methoden, die Bibel zu verstehen (Hermeneutik), die häufig unter den Stichworten „postevangelikal“ bzw. „progressiv evangelikal“ auftreten. Diese Ansätze sind ohne Zweifel modern. Aber sind sie auch der Bibel angemessen? Mit dieser Frage setzt sich Hans-Georg Wünch auseinander.

Es werden dabei vor allem die hermeneutischen Ansätze von Prof. Zimmer (Worthaus) und den Autoren des Buches „glauben – lieben – hoffen“ untersucht, aber auch „hossa-talk“ und Martin Benz sowie einige andere Theologen werden herangezogen. Dabei soll geklärt werden, ob diese modernen Ansätze der Bibel angemessen sind oder nicht. Und auch, wie eine moderne Hermeneutik aussehen kann, die der Bibel wirklich angemessen ist.
